There are letters from Nettie Thomas, Martha Thomas, Martha Grimes, Eveline Ormun, Emma Trapp and a cousin, Antoinette Nowlan. All lived in the Newfield, Pony Hollow area. The letters mention the same people for the most part. I believe there are a few more letters to be listed. There are no letters from Hosea (Breese) but several mention his name.

(Harriet had a brother James Madison Deuel died Mar 25, 1863, and Martha had a brother James Madison Clark, so the reffrence is probably Madison Clark the content of the letters may help as the name is mentioned in several letters.)
